Synopsis: A satire of Sherlock Holmes. • [?] [From The Moving Picture World]? The thief carries a sleep-producing fluid which he sprays on his victims, and the detective has a magical bag, from which he produces everything he needs, including an assistant, a number of policemen and an automobile. The pursuit is full of laughable incidents. The detective finally captures his quarry by disguising himself as an heiress and making an appointment with him for a wedding. When the thief shows up to present his supposed betrothed with the stolen necklace, he is captured after strenuous and amusing efforts to escape.
