Synopsis: [?] [From The Moving Picture World]? Daughter of the gardener on his country place, she had no social accomplishments. The pretty ways which won his heart were frowned upon by his mother, sister and brother. The climax to their dislike was her behavior at the reception. Poor Beth merely felt uncomfortable in her tight slippers and took them off, but the family declared her “impossible.” So she went back to dad. Jack found her in their favorite nook, ravishing in a gingham dress, and forthwith renounced his family.
