Synopsis: [?] [From The Moving Picture World]? Uriah Wright is the editor of “The Weekly Balloon.” His criticism of the rural population occasions vehement protests from some of his irate victims who visit his office in a belligerent spirit. To sidestep physical injury, Uriah substitutes Simp, his printer’s devil, as the author of the obnoxious items published in “The Weekly Balloon.” The consequences to Simp are painful, but he takes all that comes as a part of his journalistic duty until Uriah criticizes his best girl, when “the goat” turns and shows his horns by severely chastising his employer.
