Synopsis: [?] [From The Moving Picture World]? Brown holds the purse strings and it is like drawing teeth for Mrs. Brown to get anything out of him. He is always crying “cut down expenses.” On the way to the office he meets Jenks, who is buying presents for his wife, it being her birthday. Brown, on the impulse of the moment, insists upon sending to Mrs. Jenks a beautiful silver bag, with his compliments. Did he dig up trouble for himself? Maybe.
